Finom

Alemany Roundup

September 18, 2008 · Leave a Comment

How on Earth did it get to be Thursday when I was going to post my Alemany pictures from Sunday ON Sunday? Sometimes I think I must have some weird sort of time warp/amnesia going on, because the week has been a blur.

We saw the beginning signs of fall at the market this week, with peaches starting to look forlorn, McIntosh apples appearing, and fall squash starting to come on the scene. We also tried a little experiment due to sleeping in: showing up after noon. While some stalls were picked over by that point, many of the vendors were dropping their prices rather than trucking their wares back home. And I’m never one to complain about a bargain.
